Hey Ho everyone! *Karakuji and me decided to hold a contest and after weeks of plannig we are happy to announce that competition about the topic "abandoned places" with the following prizes:
1st PLACE:
6 months subscription and feature in the journals of some of the most popular abandoned photography artists on deviantART, i.e. `gnato, *wb-skinner, *RS-foto, ~The-Egg, =sullivan1985, `Tommy-Noker, ~Brute-ua, ~brandybuck, =EYELIGHTZONE as well as #UrbanExploration, *Karakuji and me
2nd PLACE:
3 months subscription and feature in the journals of ~brandybuck, =EYELIGHTZONE, #UrbanExploration, *Karakuji and me
3rd PLACE:
1 month subscription and feature in the journals of ~brandybuck, =EYELIGHTZONE, #UrbanExploration, *Karakuji and me
We are looking for an impressive picture that shows some kind of abandonment, for example desolated buildings, forsaken factories, decayed rooms, inoperative infrastructur etc. as you can see here:
Rules:
- only photography
- every kind of postprocessing (including HDR) is welcome but no photomontage
- the picture must fit the topic of the contest
- the photo must not contain people or animals
- only new deviations (submitted after the contest's start date)
- one entry per person
If you want to participate, send a note (with the title "contest") with a thumb or link to your deviation to *Karakuji.
The deadline is the 11th of November (11/11).
Afterwards the winners will be ascertained by a public voting.

Plus, I may enter, because I kind of have a little skill at photography... although I'll do it for fun!
Also, I know you can't change the contest's rules now, but I'd like to tell you something and I know it from my experience:
Voting for the winners will be kind of unfair, because then they ask their friends to vote for them in their journals. And their friends DO vote for them, even if they like other entries better (because they want to vote for their friends). So then it's unfair, because the most popular wins.
