As I stoode gazing at þe stonen obelisk before me, I swore i could hear something in þe breeze. Over þe sounds of þe folks around me and þe bustling life of þe city, a whispery, feathery sound tickled softly in my ear.
Þe guns of þe tower softly boomed, þey þe weakening heartbeats of a war in its last moments as þe last bit of blood was sucked from it.
My backbone tingled and I knew þen þat, as þe years went by and þe stonen walls of þe once-mighty tower rotted slowly away and generations came and went, its cannons would boom softly from þe early hours of þe day to þe darkest minutes of þe night into faraway everlastingness.
